I had the opposite when i connected my Yamaha to the BW, i had Video but no sound, tried all sorts of ways with the cables, but ended op getting an Optical cable for the sound and no problems since.

I have a 750Gb external passport drive and i used Acronis Disk Director to format it to Fat32, you can download an evaluation copy from Acronis, format your drive, then delete/remove Disk Director. it took all of 10 seconds to format my drive this way.

My 750Gb WD passport drive works faultlessly on my old P2..I have even plugged in a 16Gb flash drive in the front USB port while the WD was still attatched and they both worked fine.

Thanks for the reply Tony, Geez with Analogue supposed to be finishing in 2011/2012 you would think that the They (TV Stations) would have sorted this out by now. :x I can only hope that the next Firmware release will fix the problem, my mate has a Strong PVR and it does not happen on his box. cheers

I;m getting a "Server not found" error when trying to get to the site.

Since i started using wizFX to transfer files to my PC, It gets to approx 130Mb then it stops. saying Connection refused, so i have to keep hitting the Retry button to proceed.

Well i disabled all security on both the DGN and the DWL and i can now see the PC on the wiz. So i guess the problem is in the security settings somewhere. I dont want to leave it with no security though, so i'll be playing around with both WEP and WPA2-PSK.

Just an update: went on the Netgear forums, and apparently the DGN2000 does not like WEP security and was advised to change to WPA-PSK which i did, But still cannot conect to the DWL.

Hi Peter...

The five seconds "No Signal" issue that occurred in some areas is fixed.

This certainly has not been fixed, as i still get the delay when i use any WIN TV channels, using the 01.05.334 Firmware. Supposedly to be fixed in the next release.

Just an update...contacted tech support at Beyonwiz and was told that another firmware release is due out on Friday (347) and will have the 5 sec delay fixed. Apparently it was not put into 334 by mistake.

I have a WD 500Gb Ext HDD attatched to my P2...and i have never used the red button to detach it from the wiz....I use it just like a thumb drive ...simply turn the drive off pull out the USB cable. Never had a problem.

Everytime i switch off my Wiz it loses its network settings and i have to reapply them when i switch it on again.

When i reapply the settings i hit the apply button and get the box with the settings in it. Now it wont find my PC, No settings on either the PC or the Wiz have changed.

I recorded the "Top Gear" special on CH9..its 2hours long...and 10.8Gb, I copied the file to an external HDD and used "add/remove TS" to make them ts files.( there are 274). When i used ConvertX to DVD to try and convert them, it came up with a message that it can only convert 99...

Well the new firmware sort of fixed the Win Ch36 problem. I turn of My BW before i go to bed, and turn it back on in the morning.
