Hi, If anyone has one of these units set up for the BW...can you give me the basic steps of how to set it up...e.g. is it an AP; Bridge or set for Auto....on the back? Do you manually set up the settings.....? Which type of cable to the BW..... straight or crossover ...? Any other advice...? Cheers...

Conclusion: 1) RF Surge Protector incompatible or faulty and/or 2) Aerial and cabling installation is marginal. Netgear DG-834G set to WPA fails after the usual 6 minutes. Switching to WEP solves the problem. This is in contrast to the DLink DIR-655 which operated (reasonably) reliably in WPA.

DP-P1. Absolutely. If you really need the wireless, simply add a wireless network client. Otherwise, the DVD is simply not worth the extra $. The P1 looks better too.

The lack of networking will mean it is not a replacement for the BW or Topfield but of course marketing will mean it's sales will outdo them both.
