... You can also use the Mac program to copy files from the DP-P2 to your Mac with Eric Fry's "WizMac" app. I thinks it's on the OpenWiz wiki somewhere . Added a link to "somewhere" :) Thanks, the openwiz wiki wasn't working at the time and I couldn't get an address for it. :D

I've had a few lockups in the fileplayer so far (01_05_334). I'm not sure what's causing them and I can't reproduce it. Just happens randomly when watching movies I have ripped from dvd.

There is definitely something fishing going on with my P2 since I've installed .320. It seems to lock up when a program is recording, then accessing the fileplayer; or by pressing the stop button to cancel a video after watching part of it. With the WizFwTools on windows (win 7) I can't seem to get it to work. IS it just as simple as running the appropriate .exe because it pops up a command window then closes. Am I doing something wrong or is it just not compatible with Win7?

Can I ask why you chose VMware Fusion over parallels?
At the time I thought it was a better choice than Parallels in terms of performance. Fusion runs in 64bit mode too, so it can use more ram.

Bootcamp runs really well, just as good as any PC (if not better! :P ). I personally use VMware Fusion, as an alternative to Parallels, it runs fantastic as well.

P.S. If you want to be sneaky and get a discount you could use the online Education store. :wink:

With DCM turned on the Wiz keeps deleting my NBN HD channel. I've cleared any duplicate channels after a re-scan. Oh well I will just have to turn off DCM and wait until they finish the upgrades I suppose.

I just set my iPod as a shared folder when you have it set in "hard disk mode". You can see all the files on the iPod like movies but music is in the "iPod control" folder but with a mess of weird folder names so it's hard to tell which song you want. I can't seem to get it going...

That's good news that they are aware of the issue and that the beta guys are discussing it. Maybe a solution can be found.
