I would agree with you except that the big shows are also simulcast on the SD versions of the channels, thus achieving mass market saturation. To be honest, the only advantage is the EPG layout, which is standardised amongst freeview boxes, but I haven't seen what it actually looks like, and whether it is much better than the standard beyonwiz one.

You know what? I did nothing before going away on the switchover night, and all my icetv shows still recorded at the correct time (auto time, DST set to on). Well, not the actual correct time on the box, but the correct time in reality.

I use an Airport Express to stream from my Pc's and NAS box, and although an Xbox running XBMC works fine with streaming videos, the Beyonwiz box will just stop streaming after 10 minutes or so, and attempt to load the next video file.
