Hi, I seem to be in a loop where I keep getting asked to check the HDD. Every time the check finishes and all is OK, it asks me to 'dismiss', at which point it askes me to recheck the HDD... again You get the idea. Guys, Thanks for the tips above regarding the latest Mac Security Update. I applied the fixes suggested a couple of weeks ago - with no result. Which is why I didn't post a reply. I'm running 10.5.4 (Leopard) on a 2.66 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo running 4GB or RAM with 130GB of free disk space. Mac software is up to date - just ran the update to check...
