I had the same problem with IceTV earlier this week.
I noticed some fairly large gaps in the IceTV EPG content for channel 7 (Melbourne) at the time.
Hopefully they will quickly get over these early teething issues following their relaunch...

I've spoken with their help desk and they are aware of the problem; their engineers are currently working on it.
You may wish to keep a close eye on any recordings you're after until the issue is resolved.

A common way to fix this issue in media stack deployments is to mask the front of the device and use independently addressable IR blasters so that the recorders only see IR commands meant for them. It does mean you require a more sophisticated IR controller, but sometimes its the only way.

As for the recording progress bar, I have never played with multiple recordings enough to know what recording it does show. For it to be useful, it should show the current recording that will finish last. That can be the only possible purpose for a recording progress that is only capable of showing...

Ok - the top of the lamedb file appears to give a nice summary of all the transponders you have tuned. In my case, I only have the Mt. Dandenong transmitters (as I suspected). Do you get the Have a lot of bugs! message at the end of the file? Certainly do. Wouldn't want to feel like I'm missing out...
