Re: Beyonwiz Warranty Help
Not sure either. The company is registered to Jai Kemp who is based in Sydney. The ABN still seems to be current, but the company name appears to have been cancelled.

U4 Replacement remote and sales website
Hi all, I'm after a replacement remote for a U4. I know that they are listed as available on the shop page, but based on my and others' recent experiences with zero response from Beyonwiz support, I'm concerned the remote will never arrive! Has anyone had recent success with the shop or able to reco...

Re: Random, 10 second backwards jumps
Thanks for the responses. To clarify, I agree that fixing multiple issues at once is not the ideal problem-solving technique. For what it's worth, I upgraded the FW once everything was sorted. At various times I had replaced the batteries in the remote. I had also previously completely isolated the ...

Re: Random, 10 second backwards jumps
While I'm afraid to say it out loud :D , the skipping/down arrow issue seems to have stopped. I'm not sure exactly what has done it, but I have changed the cable to the HDD and removed the batteries from the beyonwiz remote that came with the unit. I also installed the most recent release candidate ...

Re: Random, 10 second backwards jumps
Thanks, I've changed the cable and to remains connected to the USB 3.0 port. The HDD drive was supplied by Beyonwiz. Will see if it makes any difference

Re: Random, 10 second backwards jumps
Hi all, After being reasonably well behaved for some time it has now become unusable. Skipping and cycling through menus has hit overdrive. After doing a reboot it seems to behave for a few hours then goes crazy. Same as last time I disconnected everything and made sure the remote sensor was blocked...

Slower FTP with new modem
Hi all, I have got a new router (Netcom, NF18MESH) and my FTP transfer speed (using Filezilla) has dropped from about 40-50 Mib/s on my previous router to about 10 Mib/s. Logic suggests it is an issue with the router. The route is laptop to router (173/173 (Mbps) wifi) - router to Beyonwiz V2 ethern...

Re: Bulk delete timers?
Thanks Grumpy_Geoff and PRL - happy to make use of a script if you're so inclined. It's probably about 40 timers (kid's shows are all short timers) and there are no non-ICE timers.
Thanks
Thanks

Bulk delete timers?
I use ICETV to manage timers (lots of ABC2 stuff for the kids). Things seem to have got out of sync somewhere. Is there an easy way to bulk delete all timers on the Beyonwiz before resending from ICETV?
Thanks, Paul.
Thanks, Paul.

Re: Random, 10 second backwards jumps
No, I haven't. The first time it did it I reinstalled the firmware and that fixed it, no luck this time. If I connect my TV (Samsung) to it has a mini-server it streams fine, making me think it isn't a hard drive issue. Do you happen to have ICETV by any chance? Not sure if that might have an inpact...

Re: Random, 10 second backwards jumps
When reconnecting things one by one: network cable made no difference but when I reconnected the HDD the jumps started again. The 3rd tuner is disconnected still. If I stream a file from the V2 jumps don't occur
Could reformatting the HDD help?
Thanks, Paul.

Thanks, I hadn't changed anything prior to the problem starting again. I thought re-installing the FW might fix it - no luck this time :-

Re: Random, 10 second backwards jumps
This problem has started again. Reinstalled the firmware but things didn't improve this time. The jumps now seem to be bigger, however. The device is unusable on both live TV and recorded files. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm tearing my hair out.
Thanks, Paul.
Thanks, Paul.

Re: Random, 10 second backwards jumps
The Beyonwiz is in a solid cabinet. I closed the door so that no IR signals could reach it. I've done this a few times over the last 24 hours. I've attached the log - thanks

Re: Random, 10 second backwards jumps
Now doing it worse than ever. Totally unwatchable. I turned off timeshifting in case that somehow impact recording playback, made no difference. I triple checked no remotes could reach it and disconnected it from the internet in case something weird was happening there - all made no difference. I do...

Random, 10 second backwards jumps
My V2 has developed an annoying issue. Over the last day or so my V2 has started jumping back about 10 seconds or so at random intervals. This occurs on playback of recorded files and live viewer. Anyone got any advice on what it might be? I have powered it down and restarted it in case that fixed i...

Re: A challenge for the network brains trust
Thanks, Grumpy, I logged into the extender, change the range to include the address I used at home and logged in. Can now use the remote via laptop and iPad. Much appreciated, especially in light the of rain predicted for the next week!

A challenge for the network brains trust
Hi all, I'm away with the family in Nelson Bay for the week. I had the great idea to bring the V2 with me, the problem is, I left the remote at home! I thought I'd connect to the V2 via an ethernet cable connected to a wifi range extender. The range extender is then connected to my mobile hotspot. I...

9Rush EPG empty
Hi, I have and use ICETV for EPG and recordings. 9Rush appears in my EPG but is empty. When I go to ICETV it shows as available and I can successfully set 9Rush shows to record and then have the instruction to record set on the Beyonwiz. Any idea on how I go about getting the 9Rush to populate the E...

Streaming to Chromecast from Beyonwiz
Hi, is it possible to stream from the V2 to a Chromecast on another TV? If so, can you stream one recording to another TV while watching a second recording via the HDMI output on the V2.
Thanks, Paul.

Copying Files from Topfield to V2?
Hi, I have a lot of recording on my 2400 I want to copy to my V2. I can connect to both via FTP using filezilla. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might transfer them without copying them onto a PC and then from the PC to the V2.
Thanks, Paul.
Thanks, Paul.
