Re: Ice TV Uninstall

Hi all, thanks for being so helpful. This forum is so good. I received this reply from Ice TV. Hope it helps you guys too. The problems you are having would be a result of network Seven in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth changing 7HD from a copy of 7mate to a copy of 7 for the Olympics. The following ste...

I'll switch to doing timer recordings. Is Ice TV going down the tubes again or what? I'm considering the T4 but will get the uninstall...

Re: Help required with new Beyonwiz home media solution

sorry, when you say plug in macbook - do you mean plug the drive into the macbook and transfer the files by wifi. That would take along time wouldn't it? Sorry again for a potentially very basic question!

Re: Help required with new Beyonwiz home media solution

I don't know how to save movies and TV shows onto the T4. For example, I've got 500GB worth of them on an external drive right now which is currently connected to my Macbook. The drive is ExFAT how would I get that media onto the T4?

Apologies if this sounds daft but is it ok to use or example a Seagate 2TB external drive from JB HiFi which of course is nonpowered. Will it handle Ex Fat?

I've decided to definitely get the T4 as the hub. Still to decide what size memory. Any reason not to go for ...

Re: Help required with new Beyonwiz home media solution

Thanks netmask, I'm having trouble finding a supplier for the Popcorn - I can see them on Amazon, anywhere in Australia? What about getting a T4 for lounge and a T2 or T3 for bedroom? Any other other media players you'd recommend? Looking to get a T4 as a media hub and the easiest way of viewing fro...

Re: Help required with new Beyonwiz home media solution

Thanks Ian, I really appreciate your post. Just so I'm understanding you - what do you mean by a media player for the remote stations? Can you give me some examples please? I'm sorry, I'm not clued up with what's on the market and what to go for. Maybe I could get the T4 with perhaps a 500GB drive a...
