Yep, found the setting on my TV...

Interestingly (and sort of related) when I had the output set to 60hz (in an effort to see if that improved playback of jerky AVIs) changing the OSD position and size had no effect. Change back to 50hz, and the OSD leaped to where the settings told it to be.

Seem to be on AVI.

Pauses and rew / fwd an MKV ok.

My new T3 does this, very disappointing to spend this much and find that I might need to convert all of my AVIs.

When every other device I have plays them fine, it does not go down well with the family.
