Re: Tivo Skin for T2 T4
Perhaps Snb41 should weigh in to confirm that a conversion effort is warranted. Regards, Ian. My mum is use to the Tivo Guide and use to the My Shows so it ticks boxes already as she is use to the look of those those things, I get that it will take a whole heap of work to get working anywhere near ...

Media Portal problem fixed
I have been a keen user of Media Portal plugin for quite some time mainly for music vids (Ampya is awesome) and cartoons for the kids but in the recent software upgrade something broke and I was not able to access it, just though that I would share how I fixed it just in case anyone else is having t...

You should try TStube, the UI is probably not as pretty but it is much more user friendly and faster IMO, check out my post in the plugins section if you want to give it a try. viewtopic.php?f=44&t=9323

TSTube (Alternative Youtube Plugin)
I have been using this plugin for youtube for a couple of weeks and it very stable and works really well, probably a bit easier to navigate compared to the Youtube TV app. Just download the zip file below and extract to the root of a USB stick, connect to the Beyonwiz T2 T3 or T4 and you should get ...

Re: T3: Blank screen when turning TV on
I had the same issue with an old Panasonic TV when I purchased a T4 and moved my T3 to the sunroom, it seemed like a HDMI handshake issue, Beyonwiz suggested to put a splitter in between and that has fixed it for me, funnily enough it is the same splitter that I use to get Netflix / Stan via Chromec...

Re: T4 HDMI input recording.
I've got a PS3 that should work nicely with it. Yes if you are getting the black screen because of HDCP or whatever it is called that splitter should definitely do the trick, I tried it with my IQ2 and it worked but I am getting rid of Foxtel soon, too bloody expensive, my T3 / T4 combo with...

I had the same issue with Netflix via a Chomecast dongle, I was recommended this one on ebay and it fixed it, My T4 now pretty much has a Netflix channel :D I am going to take up the 1month free of Stan next week and that should work just the same.. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-In-2-Out-HDMI-Splitte...

Has anyone tried the latest XBMC plugin (ipk) for the T3 itself? Its not a full version of XBMC it will just do the addons but works pretty good. Link to forum where you can download latest v6. http://openpli.org/forums/topic/33612-p ... h-enigma2/

I have come across this in my travels, I don't have a mac so I have not tried it but it should work in theory, the remote skin will be different but there may be a way of re-skinning it. My son has a mac I may try it over next few days as he would probably use it if it was set-up. Give it a shot and...

Re: Successful streaming to XBMC VU+ Addon
However, the one problem now is that the XBMC frontend does an EPG refresh every 2 minutes. When I switched back to the T3, I noticed that this EPG refresh interval coincides with the spinner popping up on the T3 GUI. Damn, it looks like the mechanism that XBMC uses to query the EPG freezes up the ...

No issues that I can think of.
