I currently have data covering the following regions:
Code: Select all
Adelaide Hobart Spencer Gulf
Albany WA Launceston Sunshine Coast
Ballarat Melbourne Sydney
Bendigo Mt Gambier Tamworth
Brisbane Newcastle Toowoomba
Cairns Northern Rivers NSW & Gold Coast Townsville
Canberra NSW South Coast Wagga
Central Coast Orange Warrnambool
Coffs Harbour Perth Wide Bay
Geelong Rockhampton Wollongong
Gippsland Shepparton
I can get my own data for Canberra. I'd like to get updated data for the other regions. I've also slightly simplified the data collection process. Please use the process described here, rather than the one in Channel logos (picons) or in Logos? + first impressions.
This is the only way I can maintain the picons for regions outside Canberra: your help will be appreciated by all other users in your region!
Preparing data for picons for your region
Fetch the channel info from your Beyonwiz using:
T2 - http://beyonwizt2/web/getservices?sRef= ... %20bouquet
T3 - http://beyonwizt3/web/getservices?sRef= ... %20bouquet.
T4 - http://beyonwizt4/web/getservices?sRef= ... %20bouquet
U4 - http://beyonwizu4/web/getservices?sRef= ... %20bouquet
V2 - http://beyonwizv2/web/getservices?sRef= ... %20bouquet
Change the "beyonwizt2/3/4", beyonwizu4 or beyonwizv2 to the network name you configured your PVR to if you've assigned a network name Some routers don't support using the network name in the URL. If that doesn't work, put the IP address of the PVR in place of "beyonwizt2/3/4".
That should download an XML document.
Then use File>Save Page As... in the browser to save the document to your computer. Save the document as getservices.xml in a folder named for the region (e.g. Canberra\getservices.xml).
Then make a ZIP or tar (or compressed tar) archive of the folder, named for the folder (e.g. Canberra.zip, containing Canberra and Canberra\getservices.xml). Please don't use any other archive tools, like RAR or 7z.
Then post to this topic and add the archive as an attachment. If the forum refuses to allow you to attach the .zip (or .tar or .tgz or .tar.gz) file, add the ".txt" extension to it (e.g. Canberra.zip.txt). Please leave the extension that specifies the archive type in the name, so I know what to do with it.
