We are pulling an all-nighter so we can start to get V2 pre-orders out tomorrow, all units will be updated with the latest firmware prior to shipping

A question on the V2 remote, my V2 arrived last night about 6pm! I'll hook it up later today however I need clarification on the remote. Popped the batteries in (right way around in case you are wondering) and there doesn't appear to be any illumination under the power button or any indication that the remote is working. As I haven't set the V2 up this was just by way of checking. I can't avail myself of my iPhone as the camera module has conveniently stopped working after the last Apple update...

I couldn't actually see the question you were asking there, but I will take a punt.
The V2 remote is not backlit.
You could test it using your T3 as long as the T3 is set to "All supported" or 0xae97 code sets.

T3 not an option it's on it's way to Perth to Warkus for repair of power supply. Yes no backlight on the new V2 remote is my observation... Anyway I'll set the V2 up shortly...

All set up and my external Toshiba 2TB drive is initialising, how long should it take? Sitting on 51/100 for 5 minutes now. I can confirm the V2 remote does not have a back-light - pity...
