Sony 75" X9500H 4K UHD Android Bravia LED TV
Sony 75" X9500H 4K UHD Android Bravia LED TV
I have a Sony 75" X9500H 4K UHD Android Bravia LED TV and randomly the yellow power light doesn't come on although it is functioning normally. A reboot fixes the problem Anyone here have any knowledge of this? Nothing in any of the menu's and SONY web site. Actually I would like to be able optionally to turn it off whilst watching a movie, but the apparent random nature has me concerned. Rebooting seems to suggest some memory problem with the Android software? Any help most grateful. The other possibility on a few occasions I switched inputs on my A/V remote and the power light came on so wondering if this is a CEC issue? The white activity LED's located to the right of the yellow power LED function as normal and ironically you can turn those off in menu!

Re: Sony 75" X9500H 4K UHD Android Bravia LED TV
Is it definitely a power LED?
I had a quick look and I see lots of mentions of yellow or amber LEDs being used to indicate that the MIC is switched on (or off), or that a timer is active in the TV.

And dozens of other activities! None of which work, if at all never more than once! I posted on Whirlpool and so far there are several replies mainly folk wanting to turn it off- the opposite of me for most of the time.... being a control freak I would like to be in control
and yes it is described in the manual (of sorts) as "the power LED"
