MakeMKV site suspended

I hope it is just a case of someone forgetting to pay their bill and not something nefarious?
Regular users are advised to buy a permanent license but just how, now ?

Not hacked. Lapsed hosting subscription. Mihail has paid up for his domain registration until June, but has not paid his hosting provider. As a result, the domain still resolves, but his provider serves up the suspension page.

Let's hope he's OK and can attend to it in a reasonable time frame. I imagine that things have not been all that easy in Russia lately. He's released the latest Linux version only 3 weeks ago, so I think he's still active.

VideoHelp.com are now providing downloads of the latest version in Windows, Linux and MAC versions from presumably their own servers rather than a link to the author. Hope it gets settled soon.
