I wouldn't worry about the loss of IceTV data until IceTV have sorted out the problems at their end.
One thing you can just check, and this is something that happened on my unit recently. Make sure the "Enable EIT EPG" setting is disabled.
MENU->Setup->TV->EPG->Enable EIT EPG
If that is left on, your EPG will end up with both IceTV and the broadcaster's EPG fighting eachother. Every time the IceTV EPG successfully updates, you will have a nice clean EPG, but then any time you change channel, the broadcaster EPG will replace the data for that channel only. That could possibly be one cause of parts of your EPG vanishing.
Anyway, as I said, until the IceTV servers are more reliable, I wouldn't be worrying too much about errors in your log.
The black screen on reboot is a bit of a worry, but unless that is persistent, I am not sure how to trace that one.
