If you can, please have a look at the power supply label that you use with the T2 and report back the current rating. Is it 12V and 2.5A? 1.5A? 5.0A?

36W (12VDC x 3A) should be plenty enough to power the T2 and any USB-powered devices attached to it.

Would you recommend this to replace the faulty one I have?

That linked tuner won't work on a T2, it is only for the V2. The T2 can only take a single USB tuner.

Have you verified that yours is actually faulty though? What happens if you plug it into a different antenna port?
You can try forcing the T2 to Tuner C, and then unplug the antenna from Tuner A, and plug that straight into tuner C.
If the signal dramatically improves, then it means you have a problem with that original Tuner C antenna connection.

If you do need to replace the tuner, then you need one with a RTL2832U chipset for DVB-T digital TV. These are usually referred to as a "bluey" or a "blackey" on the Beyonwiz forum :).
I think this one would do the trick:

or this
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07VCST81J ... s9dHJ1ZQ==

Those might not be the cheapest prices available though.

MrQuade, thank you for contacting me again. First things first....

Yes, I have tested the USB tuner. I connected it directly to the antenna coax cable and it's showing 40%/50% reception strength and the picture breaks up and freezes.

I did the same for tuner A = 100% and tuner B = 100%. So all was good with them I believe.

Unless I'm missing something (and there's a good chance of that :D ) I think I need a replacement.

It's not a 'want', it's a 'need' as I can't record three show (starting at the same time) which happens frequently in my house.

Yea, that does sound like it is cactus.
I don't know if you can find them in shops any more unfortunately, but you should be able to find somewhere online. I can't find anything local after a quick search, but there are various alternatives from China from EBay. I can't personally vouch for any of them though, and postage is likely to be variable given the current state of the world.

The Amazon link I posted earlier costs quite a bit more, but the delivery is fulfilled by Amazon......still unsure if that means delivery will be better though ;).

As a replacement, the Bluey/Blacky is a good choice. It is superior to the default USB tuner. However, it may benefit from a signal amplifier if your signal is on the weak side. Try it first and see how you get on.

As MrQuade notes, postage delay may be an issue but mine work well. You will need the aerial connector from your original unit so hold on to it.

Don't hold me to it but I have had more success with sourcing a Bluey than a Blackey that works with the T2. I had three or four failed attempts at getting a Blackey with the Rafael Micro R820T tuner, and may have snagged the last one in captivity. That was 2017, so not to say that there might be compatible Blackeys out there again.

The USB tuner MUST contain the Rafael Micro R820T tuner, NOT a Fitipower FC0012 or Elonics E4000 tuner. In 2017 there was a whole swag of Realtek RTL2832U & R820T DVB-T Tuners being offered on ebay, many (or most) of which did NOT have the Rafael Micro R820T tuner.

Again, just an observation on my part, a Bluey pictured together with a mini CD disk on ebay, appeared to me most likely to have the right tuner. Maybe someone with more recent purchasing experience would care to comment. You could always specify that the item MUST contain the Rafael Micro R820T tuner when ordering.

Any suggestions where I'd be able to buy a 'Bluey' USB tuner

You could get the eBay blackie that paul_oz53 linked on the previous page, as it states "R820T" -
"Package: 1x R820T DVB-T Tuner receiver"

"Item location: Singapore, Singapore"
~$18 posted

Blueys:
~$22 posted https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/311903113468?
~ $26 posted https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/172192307640

If you want something quicker, ask Beyonwiz as they had some blackies and blueys at one stage. They'd be more than twice the price though.
The Amazon dongle that MrQuade linked may be just as quick, and is cheaper.

I found this on Kogan....

https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/eletech-us ... 55-r820t2/

"This item is located outside Australia"

If you're going to spend that sort of money, then likely Beyonwiz will sell you a Bluey for the same price, and it'll be locally supplied so you'll probably receive it in Brisbane in a few days.
