Epg feature setting.

Post by Bluebird » Wed May 20, 2020 10:26

Hi,
Before upgrading to v19.3, I used a feature of epg.
In epg mode, I was able to navigate the epg, press "ok" to check info and preview, and remain on that channel when pressing "exit" to go back to live TV, as opposed to pressing "ok" again.

The setting is probably there, but I am struggling to find it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Ps. I am also using OverlayHD.

EPG, MENU>Channel preview mode. Set it to ON (or perhaps "yes" in Over;layHD). It's a bit odd that it's disabled, because it's enabled by default.

There is a separate setting for each EPG style, and the setting for the Infobar EPG is a selection rather than a simple on/off.

Yep, that's the setting, but I'm reading Bluebird's question as if the setting is at its default enabled state, but they want it to be disabled so that EXIT will stay on the channel. So that makes sense.

Re-reading the OP, you're right. I just read "preview" and thought that it was a temporary preview (one cancelled by EXIT) that was wanted.

Thank you.
Default is "enabled", but "disabled" is what I had before.

I had changed it many moons ago and couldn't remember the setting.

Thanks again.
