Have been absent from here for a long time. Just today I had to install a new Optus Router (the one configured for NBN connection). Everything went smoothly (Macs, Toshiba laptop, iPad, iPhone) with just one exception - my Beyonwiz DP P1.
The BW connects to a Toshiba laptop running Windows 8. The BW has been allocated an IP address (192.168.000.006) and I can ping the Ice Guide so I assume that part of the connection is OK.
When I clear PCs however and do a Scan the BW is not finding anything.
It is so long since I've had to tinker with anything I am at a loss as to where to start.
Any advice or suggestions gratefully appreciated.

Re: DP P1 can't see Windows PC
Problem solved. Not sure how or why and don't understand why installing a new router caused the problem. However, all I did was turn on network discovery and file sharing and made User/Owner 1 sharing with everyone.
