Post by NedIS » Sun Jun 29, 2014 15:55

Hi, does anyone know how to get the mouse pad working on the T3 for K400r keyboard?

It's working, but the user interface does not support the concept of a pointer device, so there's no pointer to move.

A wireless mouse is a pointer device. Sure, you can attach it and it will be recognised just like the Logitech keyboard track pad. It still won't do anything, because the user interface does not make use of a pointer device.

Sorry I know it sounds silly but does that even mean when you using the web browser?

I hope it does, because navigation in the web browser using the remote navigation keys is pretty dodgy.

I assumed that since there was no specific mention of the browser, you would have most likely referred to the main user interface.

The browser is effectively a completely different application. In fact, the way it is invoked is that enigma2 user interface suspends itself, completely hands over control to the browser and when the browser is done, enigma2 completely re-initialises the screen. The browser and main user interface don't ever run (on the screen) at the same time.

The web browser does use the pointer device capabilities. It works just fine with my K400 or with a Logitech USB Cordless Internet Pro mouse/keyboard combo. Nothing special should be needed for the K400r - it ought to work straight out of the box, just as the K400 does.
