Skin bug (false alarm, never mind)

Post by peteru » Wed Sep 30, 2015 12:48

Try the following button presses: MEDIA, MENU

Both skins give me a blank box and

Code: Select all

KEY: 139 make KEY_MENU ('MENU',)
action ->  MovieSelectionActions contextMenu
[Skin] ERROR in MovieContextMenu: 'MovieMenuList' object has no attribute 'downstream_elements'
warning, skin is missing element HelpWindow in <class 'Screens.MovieSelection.MovieContextMenu'>
warning, skin is missing element footnote in <class 'Screens.MovieSelection.MovieContextMenu'>
warning, skin is missing element config in <class 'Screens.MovieSelection.MovieContextMenu'>
[SCREENNAME] MovieContextMenuSummary
[SCREENNAME] ['MovieContextMenu', 'Setup']
KEY: 139 break KEY_MENU ('MENU',)
Do you also get that or is it only my development system that is stuffed?

With 2015-09-28 18:53, MEDIA, MENU works just fine for me; both skins.

I did a Check for updates and it wanted to install a new version of epgrefresh. I let it, but Last Upgrade didn't change.

I had the epgrefresh and series2folder plugins installed for some of my testing. I removed them, and no change in either skin. MEDIA, MENU was fine in both.

This is on a system that I've done quite a few install/uninstall cycles for testing stuff I've been working on, but I think it's clean. I can go back to a clean USB install and try again if you like.

I also just checked on our in-use T4. Same Last Upgrade, but without the epgrefresh update.

It has the series2folder plugin installed, but it is otherwise unmodified.

MEDIA, MENU works fine in both skins.

Must be my system then. Time to backup, flash, restore...
