Background update check T2

Post by tyreless » Fri Jan 03, 2020 10:14

I have “Configure update check -> Background check” set to “No”. If I now select “Check for updates now” I get a message “A background update check is currently in progress, please wait a few minutes and try again”.

T2, Firmware 19.3, build 20191106.

Any advice appreciated. I am not interested in updating at this time but am more concerned that it is using resources for unnecessary background checks.
Cheers,

Thanks GG. I had seen that thread but it didn't seem to match what I was seeing on the screen, ie: if I have set the wiz to not do a background check, why would it say it was busy checking? Anyway, I'll wait until the feed is back on line and see if the situation changes.
Cheers,

Dumb code assumes all errors are "already running case". Just like the recording code assumes all write errors are disk full.
