I cannot get out of the U4 I’m stuck in what seems to be Part U4 and TV

Good afternoon, My U4 is STILL getting stuck in Part Player Part TV I am running the SONY Bravia TV Remote just to go to the U4 > and the U4 Remote for the time being until I can connect my Harmony 650
From watching the Sony TV to go to BEYONWIZ > Sony TV Remote - INPUT Button > scrolling down & > Selecting > the BEYONWIZ PVR INPUT and That gets me into BEYONWIZ
(This is the same as > U4 Remote > TV - OUT scroll > U4 INPUT )

BUT when I try and return to the TV I cannot get out of the U4 I’m stuck in what seems to be Part U4 and TV
If I place U4 into Standby or Shutdown BOTH the U4 and Sony TV turn off together then neither will restart from Either of their START Buttons

If it does start the TV is in ANALOG DIGITAL MODE Button, Static Noise, Snow and no Picture’ until I push that ANALOG DIGITAL Button on the Sony TV Remote then I am watching Sony TV
Up until now I would put the U4 into Standby and restart etc. and that would fix it ...until next time but as you may recall it’s been giving me trouble since the Initial Startup.

I am thinking that changing the BEYONWIZ Remote “Channel Codes again until I have everything else sorted and go onto the Harmony 650 But until I can get back to the Sony TV in Normal Mode I cannot do anything Regards Dazzla_1

You aren't plugging your TV and U4 into a ECO power strip by any chance are you? You know one of those power saving ones that shut down ports when you turn one device off?

Also, have you enabled HDMI CEC on the U4, or the TV (It's called Bravia Sync on the TV). You'll want to disable those, as that protocol will send power on/off signals between devices when you switch things on and off.
CEC works for some people, but in my experience it is nothing but headaches.

I don't think that should be necessary unless you can demonstrate that there is definitely interference between the Wiz codes and the TV codes. I haven't heard of any IR collisions between Sony equipment and Wiz boxes.

Re - the ECO box' I don't have one Mate Its all connected with two 4 plug extension Power connector boards,

Re CEC there was Issue the Sony Bravia sync was on? Its connected to my 5.1 ARC IN ONKYO I have turned it off

Audio carried by ARC generally won't function without CEC enabled, so you'd need to use an optical link for TV audio.

Hi Mr Quade You taught me about ARC Optical to TV as standby if you want CEC that' connected but I will go back It seems Okay at this time please see attached
