Can't access webif from my computer.

I used to be able to open Beyonwiz T2 webif from my computer.

Now, new Beyonwiz U4, new wi-fi, new other internet stuff, can't open webif.

My old firefox bookmark has 192.168.43.165. Doesn't work.

My Beyonwiz U4 nameserver has 192.168.0.1 This address doesn't work.

So here's my new wifi / internet setup.

I have a TP-Link deco wifi mesh.

An ethernet cable connects the deco to the Beyonwiz. The Beyonwiz U4 successfully updates IceTV timetables. So that connection is working.

My computers get the internet with the deco via wifi. So that connection is working.

So I _think_ I'm asking, what's the 192.168.x.x number I should be using. Or how do I find it?

But _maybe_ I'm asking another question, maybe about networking. If so, I don't know what it is.

Any help out there?

The new PVR will almost certainly have a different IP address from the old one.

The best resolution to this is to use the network name of the PVR ("beyonwizu4" for a U4 by default) instead of the IP address. That requires local DNS support in your router - many, but not all, routers can do this).

If that doesn't work, then the IP address you need is the one in MENU>Information>Network>IP. The Gateway address in that page is the address that the PVR will send IP packets to if their destination isn't on the local network. The Gateway will normally be a router and will "know what to do next".

In my OP, I forgot to say, beyonwizu4 didn't work.

The gateway, 192.168.0.1 didn't work, but
> MENU>Information>Network>IP
worked.
