How fast should my download be?

Post by aujy » Sat Apr 12, 2014 22:04

Hi

It doesnt seem to matter if I have a hard drive directly connected or wired/wireless connection, I never seem to be able to go beyond 1-2 MB/S. I see others claiming 5MB over wireless and 17MB over wired. Am I missing something?

Not on the Beyonwiz DP series. Around 2 - 2.5 MB/s is pretty standard.

You can transfer slightly faster if the Wiz isn't doing much e.g. just leave it at the file player menu.
Also worth top and tailing recordings to reduce transfer time.
YARDWiz beeps as each transfer completes so you can be doing something else rather than just watching the transfer.
