Thanks all, good info. Anyone got a screen shot of their EPG? Especially single channel or network shots if it has them

First was the EPG. This setting a series recording with advanced options selected. To be honest the EPG isn't great. I think it could do with a overhaul but I don't really use it that often to be a issue. I use the EPG on P1 which is fed with this data way more.

Oh :( I saw that on their site and thought that couldn't possibly be it with all the incorrect times. i prefer a single channel [or network] so I can load up the T3's tuners with as many recordings as possible before having to put the remainder on the T3. Thanks

Just spotted ya second screengrab. I suppose most programs you'd only have to do that once.

You can select to show 6-hour time blocks (as in the image Rockets posted), whole day by network or channel, and independently select whole day by genre (movie, cartoon, children, drama, etc, etc).

But I don't use the EPG pages much. There's a page showing my currently active recordings, another with all the recordings I've ever set (which will be re-activated if a new series of a program starts), and another with upcoming new shows. And a weekly email with a summary of upcoming shows for the week.

I'm not sure what you mean about "incorrect times". The EPG's usually pretty good, and in some respects better than the broadcast EPG. And they're responsive about errors.

Like I said it isn't great. I think a table with channel on one axis and time on the other would be much better. I normally use search or the new shows area as I find scrolling the EPG when I don't know when the show is on I can miss it. But I'm not in there much either.

Yep. Some of "My Shows" have been there for 6 years or so. I have to go in occasionally to clean out cancelled or finished shows.

They're all rounded off to 5 minutes. Very rarely is that the starting time

Thanks both

The actual starting time, as I mentioned earlier, is unknown to IceTV.

I have noticed lately that shows are running more than 10 minutes late that used to be my standard padding. Not sure if this is because I am using the FTW EPG now and not IceTV, but ABC is amazingly accurate on IceTV as they actually care about their programming.

Has anyone else brought this up with IceTV. I made a complaint and got a reply that there is a very good chance we will get it. I hope they get a move on as I got my T3 about a month after re-signing for the year. To add insult to injury IceTV keeps sending me emails asking why I am not connecting to them.

If you are listening IceTV.........BECAUSE I CAN'T!!!!!!

You can suspend your account while waiting if you want. It will stop those emails but more importantly stop the clock ticking on your subscription.

I'm confused now, I thought that was one of the big reasons to buy it, more accurate programming. If the FTA EPG has more accurate times than IceTV.......

How do I suspend my account, Gully? I can find "Close My Account" under Account Details and "Cancel Auto Renew" under Payment Details, but I can't find where to suspend my account to stop the clock.

I think you have to give them a call to do it (an email might work but a call worked for me).

just renewed my Ice subscription... and they were offering long term discount. I use if for my DP Lite so I don't want to suspend it, but I did make it clear to them that I would have taken up the longer term sub if they supported the T3...

"In progress" was the reply.

I hope it is resolved soon.

Ice TV coming soon

We are pleased to officially announce that work has begun on integrating IceTV into the Beyonwiz T3. At this stage we are estimating the integration will take around 10 – 12weeks but we will keep you updated here on any changes to the schedule. IceTV have also confirmed that if you already have an IceTV subscription that the T3 can be added to your account as one of your devices (on up to 5 devices subs) so no need for a separate subscription just for the T3. :)

For all of you that have already purchased a T3 and do not have an Ice Account we will offer a free trial on launch so watch this space :D 
