Device Codes - Does a detailed list exist?

I've found that working through the codes to match a brand name device to a specific model is tedious.

A list which details the specific brand and model number that each code was originally setup for would make the configuration process far easier. If an end users product is not listed then at least they can work through the other model numbers to more easily identify one that may be a close match

Given that some poor soul at Beyonwiz would of had to collate the source data from manufacturers to originally allocate the codes, then I expect that such a detailed electronic list would have to exist somewhere.

Sorry, but I don't belive such a detailed list exists. Perhaps Dave has more/better information as he has produced some better remote control information in the past.
