DP-S1 PSU replace with a computer PSU
I have already replaced all the caps in my PSU. I wonder if a PC PSU could be used. I know the Computer PSU pin outs, what are they on the DP-S1 PSU?
In a word, no...
Voltage rails are as follows...
Pin-1 ----> AC +
Pin-2 ----> AC -
Pin-3 ----> -28VS
Pin-4 ----> GND
Pin-5 ----> +7.5VS (Always On)
Pin-6 ----> GND
Pin-7 ----> GND
Pin-8 ----> +2.6VCC (model dependant)
Pin-9 ----> GND
Pin-10 ----> +3.3VCC
Pin-11 ----> GND
Pin-12 ----> +7.5VCC
Pin-13 ----> GND/+12vcc (model dependant)
Pin-14 ----> +5VCC
Pin-15 ----> PWR_ON
Even if you did manage to emulate every power rail, it would be the interfacing with the Watchdog timer and startup of the machine that would be your biggest issue.
It is definitely not an easy thing to achieve.
