BR-01 Remote Issue

Post by Jadey » Mon Apr 26, 2010 18:45

I was wondering if I'm alone in this one.

After pausing a recorded program I went to make it play again and unfortunately my remote had decided to switch itself to TV instead of STB and would not change back for love nor money. There is no damage to the remote itself and it hadn't been treated poorly.

I took out the batteries and replaced them with new ones I even turned the machine off and on at the wall in case it had SOMETHING to do with it. But the remote will not switch back to STB.

In all honesty with all of the drama I have had with the Beyonwiz my fiance and I are looking into a Tivo or anything else really. I'm ready to throw the whole thing out the window.

Is the Beyonwiz still in warranty? It sounds like time for a call to Beyonwiz Support.

Then I guess it's the Beyonwiz Shop for a replacement, then ($60) :(

Before you do, though, are any of the buttons stuck down?
