Or could it be the Beyonwiz, and thus the delay for the latest f/w (to get something workable for IInet). Speculation only, as even though I am a beta tester, nothing even hints that the beta f/w has anything to do with IInet...
Regards
Tony

As a long standing Iinet customer, I'd be happy to offer my services and use my P1 as a test machine.

If it is beyonwiz and iiNet - well I'd happily ditch my bigpond service for iiNet.

iiNet would have to extend its current browser-based IPTV offering to make it very interesting.

ozdoc has posted a rundown on the iiNet IPTV seminar on the DTV forum.

It's not built on a Beyonwiz. That said, I think it's safe to say that it's not what WizTV is :)

My impression with the DRM and lack of PC connectivity, that this thing is going to be locked down tighter than a Vicar's daughter.

I think in years to come we will look back in wonder at the freedom and flexibility the Wiz has allowed us to have.

Thanks ozdoc.
Looks like the old 'vapourware' to me. I would be surprised to see a consumer proof unit in under a year!
After all, look at toppies and wizs to see how easy or not easy it is to make a 'simple' easy to use PVR.
It will be interesting to see the final charges/contracts. Unlike satellite, the service area is very limited thus limiting the potential customer base.
