Unwanted Recordings

Post by Maindee » Tue May 05, 2020 11:42

Hi

For some time now I have been trying to stop my T2 from recording "The Cook and the Chef" on SBS Food. No matter how I try to delete the timers they still fire-up. I have tried to delete the timer through the Recording button (all 3 options there), and using the "Timer" button. The program is usually recorded 6 times a day 04.25, 04.55, 16.25,16.55 and 21.25 and 21.55

I subscribe to IceTV but the recordings don't show up there. So the problem doesn't appear to be with IceTV.

I am on software version 17.5, Build and Revision 20190207

A small annoyance but rather frustrating. Can you help please.

Are the recordings of The Cook and The Chef being managed by an AutoTimer? If so, you need to delete (or disable, if that's more appropriate) the AutoTimer, not the timers that it generates.

When you delete the AutoTimer, it will ask whether you want ro delete the timers that it has already generated. If you answer that it should, everything should be cleaned up properly.

An AutoTimer is just a specification for automatically generating ordinary timers.
