Beyonwiz are pleased to announce the release of the Beyonwiz AP-E1 LiDiC (Line-in Digital Converter); the first of it?s kind!

The LiDiC allows you to record from an external video source to a Beyonwiz DP-S1 or DP-P1 High Definition PVR in H.264 digital video format.

Attaching a LiDiC to the Beyonwiz PVR now offers a "complete solution" allowing users to utilize PVR functionality from virtually any AV source.

If you have a satellite, cable or pay TV box you can now connect them via your LiDiC to your Beyonwiz PVR and set timers to record your favourite shows thus allowing you to watch them at a more convenient time just like you would on a conventional VCR, except now you will be recording in high quality digital.

The show stopping feature on the LiDiC when coupled with a Beyonwiz PVR is that it gives you the ability to time shift on virtually any AV source, so for example, say you are viewing your Pay TV via your Beyonwiz you can now have the ability to Pause & Rewind Live TV!

The LiDiC even has a video out pass-through so if you're satellite, cable or pay TV box only has one output, no worries! You can run it into the LiDiC then out to your TV.

Now you can finally throw away your old video tapes! Simply connect your old VCR or camcorder to the LiDiC and transfer those old tapes & home videos to your Beyonwiz Hard drive and watch them with a click of a button at anytime. Once on your Beyonwiz transferring videos to your PC or external HDD is effortless.

The LiDiC, cased in a black, 150mm chassis comes with a user manual, USB cable and RCA audio/video cable and will be available from most leading electrical retailers from early November with a RRP of $299.
