If I turn on V2 and select EPG most days the screen isn't populated. If I ask that the screen to be refreshed almost nothing happens so I have to resort to manually clicking on each provider. Perhaps it's the space in the path? Is the server share really named "CONTENTS (at NetDrive_2TB)"? The path as shown in the move from Trash error is actually a DLNA path. "Browse Folders" may be a protected directory - I can't even cd to it - root@beyonwizv2:/media/upnp/RT-AC67U-...

It could also be the "no framebuffer available" error.
enigma2 will terminate and retry, rinse repeat a few times until the "init" process says enough's enough and sin-bins it for 5 mins, then away we go again.
Only a reboot fixies it.

If you see the bubbles screen, but the Infobar and all the other menus work as normal, it means that the V2 can't tune to a service.

Check your antenna connections to start with.

My thoughts too, but it could also be that the service scan tables have gone.

That means there was a record timer set on either the previous or next program event on that same service, and their pre or post-padding partially covered the event in question.

If the Beyonwiz crashes while accessing the network drive the bookmark disappears.

The bookmarks are stored in the config file (as setting "config.movielist.videodirs"). The config file (/etc/enigma2/settings) is written to flash memory on GUI shutdown.

But the answer to your original question is that there's no issue if you delete the enigma2_execution.log. It will be re-created the next time something is written to it. ... which is when the GUI starts up, or stops (or is killed), and the same for the "GUI pre-start" script if it exists.
