While there are no guarantees that it will fix it as it may be a reception/antenna problem the first step would be updating to the latest release firmware. You can Press Menu > Information > About > and look at the build.

If you are on the latest it should be 20211010

If not, get the latest version here.

You can't restore firmware versions by using the backup and restore utility, that is intended for settings only, and even then you have to be *VERY* careful and know what you are doing if you mess with the custom backup items options. Settings / packages. This was discussed a little while ago after someone suffered a failed update by doing it using that method. I can't remember the cause or fix for that particular issue though. Thanks. Now that you say it, it does ring a bell. Not something I would do but could be worth remember...

You can adjust the steps in the settings but to be honest most people use skipping rather than fast forward and reverse. Give that a go and see how you like it.

The problem is that once the backup files settings is "frozen" by making any change to it, it no longer follows changes to the default. This is probably not what most people want (most of the time), but it's hard to make it otherwise the way the the settings system works. Once it gets out...

I'm getting the same problem on my U4 on the beta feed. Cannot connect to update server.

Also while the plugin feed lists load I am getting errors trying to install anything.

Adoxa is always free to request that and I see no reason for it not to happen though I'm not sure about the idea of a generic topic for them. Realistically they get developed when Adoxa chooses to to respond to a problem/need to not surprising they are scattered.

Seems bizarre and no idea how it could be created aside by someone with access to your V2 or your computer but you can delete it through the BouquetEditor in OpenWebIf. On the right hand side select that bouquet and then click the delete button.

tk;dr - adding the screen seems an unnecessary step in what's supposed to be a process that's meant to be as simple as possible, but adding it simplifies the user's later setup. I think you are right to have it there as it will make it clearer that it is both an option for setup and for later use.
