Hi adoxa The MF910Z has been around for a while. The Telstra Prepaid 4GX Hotspot Black MF985T is a bit of a step up. Max data rate goes from 150Mbps to 600Mbps and wifi is dual band with max 20 connections. It also has 2 antenna ports. Do you have a nearby Telstra shop or Officeworks where you could...

Re: U4 high pitch noise during operation?
Hi Dennis I used a Silent 5 to replace the fan in a T4. The original had a nameplate rating of 80mA. Compared to the original, the Silent 5 was a bit noisier but moved more air, which I wanted. A series resistor would lower the current and noise (as well as airflow).

There is a large variety and they are airmailed in.
You may need to change the plug and/or leave the third sensor disconnected for the U4

Our T4 is in a TV cabinet. I have fixed the regulators but on hot days still getting the self rebooting problem. After reading through the forums I decided to upgrade the rear fan. First I cut out the metal grill and replaced it with a 3D printed one. The fan was then replaced with a wider 15mm sile...

Hi Gents, Watched the waveform with a DSO on the fan supply when varying normal speed. Fan stops at zero and starts again on first increment of bar. Checked and found similar when adjusting standby bar and then switching to standby. However not relevant now as I wired the fan to the HD 12V supply. I...

After reading about the fan speed settings for the T4 I set both Normal and Standby to near maximum. My guess is the system time on your Wiz has gone haywire. It went back roughly an hour just after 2pm - Is time set from the network (NTP) or from the broadcast signal? One way if you are adventurous. I believe the S1 is flaky with anything other than WEP. Find a cheap wireless N router that can be be flashed with DD-WRT. Flash it and then set it up as a wireless bridge (client bridge). Read the DD-WRT wiki. You then have several sockets to Ethernet wire to. I have...

There are two shows on. One after the other, which I want to record. Stupidly it won't let me record them both with overlaps - even when there aren't any other recordings happening.
