Re: Enigma 2 replacement model
If you mean Enigma2 Client for Kodi then it acts like every other PVR front end, in this case connecting back to any Enigma2 box you may have on your LAN. For example in my case I can connect to either my T2 or U4. It only reflects what can be done in the Enigma2 boxes, so you can play live TV, set...

Re: Is Beyonwiz still in buisness
The Vu+ doesn't run Beyonwiz firmware (and probably never will). It runs a variety of different enigma2-based firmware images that are all different from each other and from the Beyonwiz firmware. Wasn't suggesting to run Beyonwiz Firmware on the Vu+ but I thought the two are related by the enigma2...

Don't know, he mentioned he tried different USB hard drives. Perhaps the port is no good.
I use my T4 as the back end for my V2 so have perhaps avoided the issue this way.

Yeah I bought an additional remote for my V2 (me and the missus don't share too well) but the power button seems faulty, continuously fires. Tried to do a warranty claim and never heard a thing. I was probably sold a warranty return :x I bought a Sofabaton multi remote. Been happy with it, not as 's...

I didn't get my Vu+ Duo 4k SE "out of the box". It had already been set up by someone else. However, I'm pretty sure that the hardware was all "as supplied" and there's no need to do anything special. In particular, I understand that the DVB-T tuners were as supplied by World of...

Re: Beyonwiz Forums
It's a bit on the large size: bigger than a U4, but smaller than a T3/T4. One nice feature is that the 2.5" internal HDD is in a caddy that unlatches and slides out of the back of the box, so if you buy it without HDD, or want to upgrade to a bigger HDD, you don't have to take off the cover. T...

Found a multi remote that's pretty good that's not a Logitech, Sofabaton. Easy to program via an App on your phone and bluetooth.

You reminded me that the Vu+ Ultima 4K is a potential candidate as a replacement if optioned with internal DVB-T2 tuners. I'm not certain but apparently it can support 5 tuners. It also supports HDMI 2 input. I'd be all over that if my T4 died but not entirely sure it can do more than 2x terrestria...

It's "normal" for the V2 to show a handful of seconds of jerky video after switching channels. It's just an artefact of the way it decodes video unfortunately. The T and U series didn't show the same effect. Yeah I get this and then it's normal. This is not the stutter issue I saw with th...

It only seems to be a recent thing for me. Sure it's not a bug from the firmware update rather than a chipset issue? Aus Open - Nine Broadcast at 60hz?
Was watching the Aus open on my V2 a couple of nights back and the motion was just awful. I use https://www.videoredo.com/en/index.htm which looks budget but it's easy to use and fast. Only re-encodes frames at the edit, otherwise it's a copy of the rest of the video.
There are free options that work but I found this the easiest
