Yep, so far I've successfully downloaded 2gig of a 6gig file using WizFX, which is further than I got after many crashes and resumes with WizZilla. So pretty sure it's not the firmware update that's causing issues with WizZilla.

From my observations, when Ice sends a timer to the BW and the little hollow red dot becomes a solid red dot, Ice registers that timer as being sent and does nothing further with it. If the timers are then removed from the BW (like after a FW update/factory reset) Ice doesn't seem to send them again...

I haven't been able to get avi files using the Microsoft DV AVI codec (the one used for captures from my video camera) to work - plays about half a sec of audio, no video, then stops. I can get avi files encoded using divx to work though.

I don't really know, but surely there's other differences to a HD-DVD disc other than the capacity it holds. What kind of format is the video stored in? What kind of encryption? I'm pretty sure the BW hasn't been programmed with any of this decoding in mind.
