Re: Harmony remote won't sync with T4
... My TV and my Onkyo depend upon a signal from the Wiz, so guess the order should be Wiz-Onkyo-TV ... My T4, as it was with the DP-P2, is connected through the Onkyo AMP was always started, last. This was probably more important with the P2, using HDMI as the audio (rather than optical) handshaki...

Re: Edit video on t2/t4
Oh dear that all seems so tedious! I can edit out commercials quicker by transferring to via ProjectX or TSDoctor and do the edits there. If the recording doesn't have any glitches or require subtitles, then do it in Womble with a proper timeline. I completely agree with Netmask's comment. Having o...

The backup being restored certainly overlaid data, as such. I checked the Box Info before/post the restore and were different, showing the regression: Firmware version: 4.4.20151104 - post upgrade vs 4.4.20150831 - post upgrade restore ... Re: Setup Menu - Post T4 Upgrade & restore
I performed the re-install of the latest firmware via USB, without restoring thereafter. The menu settings looked more complete, so that was a plus. I had a quick look including activating the Full Metal vs the default Easy skin. But, without time to play at the moment, I gave up on tailoring (mount...

It doesn't look correct, that is for sure.
I can attempt a re-install of the firmware and not restore and check the settings/menu first. Maybe try my luck and customise again without using the back up. Thanks, Ian.

Setup Menu - Post T4 Upgrade & restore
I backed up, leaving the settings as "default", and then post T4 USB Update, it asked to restore the settings which I did an all appeared fine--this was about 1 week after public upgrade was released. I'd only had a quick look around as the timers and mounts etc, were all there, I'd not bo...

I appreciate you digging up the file, thanks. I'll give it a miss due the LCN numbering still needing to be in order.
Good that it is here for others as an easy find reference under this thread with LCN in the title.

Re: Restoring LCNs in Bouquets
I agree with the new methodology, but Miss Prissy is used to specifically entering the LCN--very much old school. I have just reverted a T4 back to what she is comfortable with. It is a shame that the LCN values cannot be retained when making your favourite list (easily), I did this more so for EPG ...

Re: T4 vs T3 - Large mkv files
I cannot comment on the T3, as I only have DP series units and now a shiny T4. I had an Android Media Box to play my MKVs as the DP Series was a no go for my files and I certainly expected the T4 to be more than capable; for me it is. Not all MKVs are created equally as there are so many customisabl...

Re: T3 playing MKV files really well
I received my T4 Barebones today, performed the upgrade then had a bit of a play. MKV is of great interest, so I could move an Android device elsewhere (purely for MKV), where this will sit. MKVs served DLNA wise via my very old, but reliable, WD ShareSpace NAS is no go. It can see the file, as well...

Re: T3 Harddrive Interface
A premium seems to be charged for a T3 supplied with internal HDDs.
It would appear that this unit would require removing the full cover, which may contain an anti-tamper warranty sticker ? Would the warranty become null and void, if you were to supply/install your own HDD ?

We have multiple Beyonwiz boxes and all see and play off each other. Within the Router (modem/router) we use fixed IP addresses for all devices on the LAN. Hopefully this is not a trend for the refurbished units. Unit testing should have highlighted these faults. We are experiencing the occasional stutter/pause, for LCN 70 [Seven HD], only. It is very intermittent and appears to be TV show specific.
