SBS EPG Missing from Wed 3 January 2018 (Canberra - Black Mountain)
Has anyone else noticed that the SBS channels have a blank EPG from 5am 3 January?
I just did a tuner rescan and an EPG refresh and it's still blank.
Have I missed an announcement or something?
My aerial is pointed at Black Mountain, Canberra and I have a Beyonwiz T3.

Thanks for the tip Ian but I have my devices on fixed DHCP-allocated IP addresses too. I suspect that having to rescan was due to having to restart the modem/router and Windows 7 recognising it as a new network. But that's only a suspicion. PS - you'll prabably have to rescan tonight, now that you'v...

I've been going through a similar situation, going from a D-Link modem router to a Netcomm. I had more problems with my WD TV Live getting access to my network shares than anything else but one issue I noticed with the BW was that it took a couple of goes for it to connect to the new router (DHCP). ...

Re: New TV - Opinions??
Only reservations about that plan is that our amp doesn't do HDMI so will need to use the Component input on the TV, don't really want to shell out on a new amp every few years because the industry can't settle on a bleeding interconnection standard for more than a year or two..... How about HDMI d...

I have noticed occasionally that there are some old timers on the list. I don't go to the timer list very often, so it's hard to remember if they actually worked but I think they did. I haven't been able to link these leftover timers to any specific event. My assumption for now is that s**t happens ...

Mind you, I can only play some ISO's as yet but still have a fair bit of troubleshooting to do, pretty sure it is a network issue external to the P2. I agree - I saw the same behaviour from a high bitrate mkv file that I was accessing over the wired network. When I transferred it to the P2, it play...

... I think glow?s suggestion below is a good one. You could just rename the recordings - e.g put your initial at the beginning to indicate that you've watched it. With the initial at the beginning it doesn?t disappear off the screen if the recording name gets truncated. Or, radical as this may app...

I guess I could try running the ISO through DVDShrink to reduce the bitrate and see what happens? That's what I did and it worked. Unfortunately I also lost some picture quality (of course). From memory I was shrinking a 6-7 GB DVD (TV series, 4 episodes) down to about 4.5GB (just in case it didn't...

I didn't even know you could have multiple audio streams in an AVI file. Either did I!!? FYI, according to The KMPlayer's media information (gee, that's a handy feature in a media player) the AVI was created using the FairUse Wizard http://fairusewizard.com which can "Encode up to two audio tr...

I'm Impressed!
After some discussions about the BW's abilities as a media player, I thought I'd provide some positive feedback. I obtained an AVI file that had 2 audio streams - Portugese & English. I found this out when I played it in The KMPlayer on the PC and, after about 5 minutes of searching through menu...

I was sure that recordings could be stopped with a single button press from the service the recording was being made on. The media player is/was used when I relied on the Beyonwiz to play files, it failed miserably as a media player, we all know that. One HD - or is it?
I was watching a recording of the NFL playoff game (originally broadcast about 11:00am on 25/1/10) and noticed that occasionally I would jump through an ad break and the video looked decidedly non-HD. I even jumped back to check that it wasn't my eyes playing tricks on me but I confirmed that it loo...
