I use VideoReDo TV Suite to edit Beyonwiz recordings that I want to keep. The Ad-Detective works quite well but you need to tweak it a bit to get the cuts exactly right. You can also remux into other formats such as MKV.

Hi Paul, I have my U4 and T3 hooked up to same Panasonic TV via different HDMI ports. I have to Toggle the HDMI Auto setting on the TV between Mode 1 and Mode 2 to get sound from the T3 then the U4. So maybe its a setting on that particular TV you have to change. That's why I use the U4 to play file...

I think that I know what the problem is here - if you change the state of the Add season to title setting, you need to reload the EPG in order for it to "take" (MENU>IceTV>Disable IceTV, Enable IceTV, fetch EPG etc). Even doing this won't change the titles of any existing timers, and henc...

I would prefer Option 2 which gives people a choice. My preferred option is SnnEnn (without brackets) for either long or short filename.
By the way what is the difference between standard filename and long filename if any.

Seems fine now. No crash on timer start.
Just a small thing I've noticed in the EPG some Series Episode are separated by a comma and others by a colon. Is this just the way ICETV sends it.
