The Plex client probably incorrectly tells the server it can’t handle direct play so the server transcodes.

There may be config files under the hood (of the client) that can be modified to change what the client can handle?

When I’ve played around with more frequent update times in the past I thought it picked up last minute timers I set through the Ice app on the next update. Haven’t noticed that they still took 15 minutes to hit the Wiz.

Blackbox lists sub folders. They are just at the bottom of the list below recordings.

Unfortunately, on iOS 11 Blackbox doesn’t correctly rotate to landscape.

The most secure method is to use a VPN.
Hamachi or SoftEther work well.

It isn't recommended to expose the Wiz directly to the internet with port forwarding.

I prefer Blackbox over the WizOS app. It also doesn't suffer the seek issue the WizOS app has.

I haven't specifically tested streaming the hdmi input through Blackbox, but it works fine with transcoded streams so in theory it should be ok.

The Dolby Digital indicator on the info bar no longer correctly lights up. Both for live tv and recordings.

The only channel I can get it to (incorrectly) light up for is 44.
